Stereophile, one of the worlds leading audiophile magazines, has awarded Quadâââ‰â¢s ESL-2805 their coveted âââ¬ÃÅProduct of the Yearâââ‰â¢ award. In a ceremony that took place at the 2007 CES show in Las Vegas. David Patching (right), Quadâââ‰â¢s Marketing Director and Jeff Sigmund, President of distribution company Taiga LLC received the award from Editor-in-chief, John Atkinson.
The Stereophile awards are hard fought with the loudspeaker category being one of the most competitive. The magazine which represents the interests of high-end audio consumers is regarded as a leading authority for the discerning audiophile.
This is not the first time that Quad ESLs have achieved this pinnacle of success. Just a few years ago, in 2002, the predecessor to this new range, the ESL-989, achieved the same critical acclaim.
The newest range, the ESL-2805 and ESL2905, are adding rapidly to the reputation of the Quad brand winning numerous international awards, including A Diapason Dâââ‰â¢Or award from France, Japanâââ‰â¢s coveted âââ¬ÃÅStereo Sound âââ‰â¬Å Grand Prixâââ‰â¢ award and a CES Design and Engineering award.
