Stereophile, one of the worlds leading audiophile magazines, has awarded Quad’s ESL-2805 their coveted ‘Product of the Year’ award. In a ceremony that took place at the 2007 CES show in Las Vegas. David Patching (right), Quad’s Marketing Director and Jeff Sigmund, President of distribution company Taiga LLC received the award from Editor-in-chief, John Atkinson.

The Stereophile awards are hard fought with the loudspeaker category being one of the most competitive. The magazine which represents the interests of high-end audio consumers is regarded as a leading authority for the discerning audiophile.

This is not the first time that Quad ESLs have achieved this pinnacle of success. Just a few years ago, in 2002, the predecessor to this new range, the ESL-989, achieved the same critical acclaim.

The newest range, the ESL-2805 and ESL2905, are adding rapidly to the reputation of the Quad brand winning numerous international awards, including A Diapason D’Or award from France, Japan’s coveted ‘Stereo Sound – Grand Prix’ award and a CES Design and Engineering award.
